Hubert Ashton Holden
Hubert Ashton Holden (1822-1896) was educated at King Edward's School, Birmingham, and Trinity College, Cambridge. He published school editions of various classical authors, among them Cicero, Thucydides, Xenophon, and Plutarch. Holden authored Plutarch's Life of Pericles (Macmillan, 1894; reprinted by Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers).
