
M.R.P. McGuire
Martin Rawson Patrick McGuire (1897-1967) was a professor at Catholic University of America from 1927 until his death. McGuire received a BA from Holy Cross College and an MA and PhD from the Catholic University of America. He contributed to many important works on Catholicism, including The New Catholic Encyclopedia (McGraw-Hill, 1967). McGuire coauthored with James Marshall Campbell The Confessions of St. Augustine: Books I-IX (Prentice-Hall, 1931; reprinted by Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, 1984, 2007).
