The late E. T. Owen was for many years professor of Greek at the University of Toronto. His substantial reputation as a scholar was due in large measure to his books The Story of the Iliad (Clarke, Irwin and Company, 1946; reprinted by Bristol Classical Press and Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, 1989) and The Harmony of Aeschylus (Clarke, Irwin and Company, 1952).
