Paul Shore, PhD

Paul Shore is a visiting scholar at St. Paul's College, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg. He received a BA in history from Lewis and Clark College, an MA in history from Yale University, and a PhD in educational studies from Stanford University. Shore was previously a professor of educational studies at Saint Louis University. Shore is the author of Rest Lightly: A Collection of Latin and Greek Tomb Inscriptions (Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, 1997), The Myth of the University (University Press of America, 1992), Encounters, Estrangements, Connections (Dacotah Territory Press, 1989), coauthor with Nel Noddings of Awakening the Inner Eye: Intuition in Education (Teachers College Press, 1984), and coauthor with Paul C. Reinert of Seasons of Change: Reflections on Fifty Years at Saint Louis University (Saint Louis University Press, 1996).
