Peter J. Aicher
Peter J. Aicher is professor of classics at the University of Southern Maine. Aicher received his BA in English from Colgate University and his PhD in classics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Aicher has pursued research on a variety of grants and has published articles and translations in a wide variety of professional journals. He has appeared in several television specials on Roman aqueducts and has lectured on ancient literature and Rome for academic and nonacademic audiences. Aicher is the author of A Guide to the Aqueducts of Ancient Rome (Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, 1995) and Rome Alive: A Source-Guide to the Ancient City, Volumes I and II (Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, 2004).
