Donald H. Mills, PhD
Donald H. Mills, professor emeritus of classics, taught classical languages at Syracuse University. Mills received his BA from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, and his PhD in Classics at the University of Iowa. He has served as vice president, president, and treasurer of the Classical Association of the Empire State, and has published articles and reviews on Homer, Plato, Catullus, Tibullus, and Vergil. Mills is the author of The Hero and the Sea: Patterns of Chaos in Ancient Myth (Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, 2003).
