Timothy F. Winters, PhD

Timothy F. Winters is professor of classics at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. He received a BA in Greek from the University of Arizona at Tuscon and an MA and PhD in classics from the Ohio State University. Winters received the Award for Excellence in College Teaching for 2007 by the Classical Association of the Middle West and South. He has conducted archaeological field work on the island of Salamis and is the author of articles on Greek, epigraphy, and archaeology. Winters is the coauthor with John H. O'Neil of Homer: A Transitional Reader (Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, 2010).
