G.M. Kirkwood

An American Philological Association award-winning author, G. M. Kirkwood was a Professor in the Classics Department at Cornell University and a president of the American Philological Association. His articles on Greek theater and lyric have been published widely in professional journals. Other books by Kirkwood include A Study of Sophoclean Drama; Selections from Pindar: An Introduction & Commentary; Aristotle’s Poetics; and Early Greek Monody.
