Yana Igorevna Myaskovskaya was born in Moscow, Russia on April 28th, 1987. She immigrated to the Northwest suburbs when she was 4 years old and continues to speak Russian fluently. Myaskovskaya is the illustrator of How Many Animals? Quot Animalia? (Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, 2002), What Will I Eat? Quid Edam? (Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, 2002), Who Loves Me? Quis Me Amat?
