Mardah Weinfeld

Mardah B. C. Weinfield has taught Latin at the secondary level for ten years. A 1999 recipient of the Illinois State Board of Education "Those Who Excel" Award, she has also presented papers on pedagogical and Roman topics at a variety of state professional conferences. Although her current focus is primarily on raising her young boys, Weinfield continues to mentor area teachers and to tutor students. Weinfield is coauthor with John Breuker of A Little Book of Latin Love Poetry: A Transitional Reader for Horace, Catullus, and Ovid (Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, 2006) and translator of How Many Animals? Quot Animalia? (Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, 2002), What Will I Eat? Quid Edam? (Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, 2002), Who Loves Me? Quis Me Amat? (Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, 2003), and What Color Is It? Quo Colore Est? (Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, 2003).
