Caroline Perkins, PhD
Caroline Perkins is professor and chair of the Department of Classics at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. Perkins received her PhD from The Ohio State University. She has won teaching awards at Marshall University, is the author of several articles on Tacitus and Ovid, and has given numerous presentations on these and other authors. She is a tireless promoter of the study of classics in her adopted state, and most recently has established an MA in Latin program at Marshall University. Perkins is coauthor with Denise Davis-Henry of Ovid: A LEGAMUS Transitional Reader (Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, 2007).
