Steven M. Cerutti, PhD

Steven M. Cerutti teaches at East Carolina University. Cerutti received his PhD from Duke University in 1992 and started the classical studies program at East Carolina University. In 1993 he received a Fulbright scholarship and in 1994 taught archeology at the Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies in Rome. Cerutti's publications include three books on Cicero; a popular book on etymology; an introductory textbook on Greek tragedy; numerous articles on Cicero, Roman topography, and numismatics; and book reviews for the American Journal of Archaeology. Cerutti is the author of Cicero Pro Archia Poeta Oratio, 3rd Edition (Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, 2014).
