William T. Wehrle received a BA from the University of the Pacific and a PhD from the University of Southern California. Wehrle is the author of The Satiric Voice: Program, Form and Meaning in Persius and Juvenal (Olms-Weidmann, 1992) and coeditor with William J. Dominik of Roman Verse Satire: Lucilius to Juvenal (Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, 2000).
