Mark Stansbury, PhD
Mark Stansbury is a lecturer in classics at the National University of Ireland in Galway. He received a BA from Harvard College and a PhD in history from Boston College. He was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship at the Seminar für Mittellateinische Philologie, Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität, Münster, Germany, and holds a Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship at the Moore Institute for Research in the Humanities and Social Studies at the National University of Ireland, Galway. Stansbury is the author of The Official Sympatico Guide to the Internet (Nelson, 1996) and several articles that appeared in collections of essays and in journals; he also coauthored with Christopher M. McDonough and Richard E. Prior Servius' Commentary on Book Four of Virgil's Aeneid: An Annotated Translation (Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, 2002).
